Now's the Time to Join Cartersville Area Writers

Absolutely not. We have members from all over Northwest Georgia and some from other states! Right now, we do not have virtual meetings, but will consider adding those when growth demands.

Writers at any stage of their careers are welcome to join. Are you thinking about writing? Do you have stories but don't know what to do with them? Have you published books? Everyone is encouraged to participate!

Each year in the fall, CAW publishes an anthology of poetry and short stories (fiction and non-fiction). Everyone who is a paid member of CAW is invited to submit. Information about how/where/when will be shared in early September.

Each of our meetings focuses on a different topic. Paid members are invited to participate in our spring and fall workshops, with topics to be announced later. We also plan to offer additional workshops throughout the year, which will be announced at a later date.
