Now's the Time to Join Cartersville Area Writers

Absolutely not. We have members from all over Northwest Georgia and some from other states! Right now, we do not have virtual meetings, but we do post our free meetings on our YouTube channel,  @CAW_2022.

$40 a year gets you all the perks of being a CAW member. See the above section to learn about those.  Since our fiscal year begins each January, dues are collected at that time for all members, no matter which month they joined. 

Writers at any stage of their careers are welcome to join. Are you thinking about writing? Do you have stories but don't know what to do with them? Have you published books? Are you a journaler who wants to learn more about the craft? Everyone is encouraged to participate!

Each spring, CAW publishes an anthology of poetry and short stories (fiction and non-fiction). Everyone who is a paid CAW member is invited to submit (it's one of the perks of paid membership). See our anthology page for all of the details.

Each of our meetings focuses on a different topic. Paid members are invited to participate in our spring and fall workshops. We also offer additional workshops throughout the year, so watch our website and Facebook page for details.
